All-On-X® dental implants can permanently replace teeth that are missing, damaged, or decaying from the upper or lower jaw. All-On-X® implants do not use a set number of dental implant screws, as this procedure is highly customizable to each patient. Patients undergoing All-On-X® dental implant surgery will have a customized number of implants tailored to meet their individual needs and to achieve a full, healthy smile. The All-On-X® technique is minimally invasive and eliminates the need for traditional tooth replacement methods, such as dentures and dental bridges. Dr. Andrei Mark uses All-On-X® dental implants in New York City to give patients a natural-looking solution to replace missing teeth.
All-On-X® dental implants are a non-removable prothesis that replace missing teeth of the entire upper or lower jaw. All-On-X® dental implants do not require extra care and can be treated like regular teeth. The All-On-X® implants are fitted specifically to each individual and to provide the best possible results. The technique used to perform All-On-X® can replace multiple teeth while using fewer dental implant screws than traditional methods. Unlike All-On-4® and All-On-6® dental implants, All-On-X® does not require a set number of dental implant screws for every surgery. All-On-X® dental implants allow oral surgeons the flexibility to customize the amount of dental implants that are used during each operation based on the patient’s needs. All-On-X® implants are inserted at specific angles which allows for more bone from the jaw to be utilized in securing the implants in place. This also helps create a strong and stable foundation for the implant screws to bond to, resulting in a long-lasting solution to restoring your smile.
All-On-X® dental implants are a permanent tooth replacement solution that can be tailored to best suit the needs of every patient. The All-On-X® method allows for oral surgeons to create versatile treatment plans to properly restore the jawbone density, overall oral health, and smile of each patient. Traditional tooth replacement methods required an individual implant screw for each missing, damaged, or decaying tooth that needed to be replaced. This method could result in utilizing multiple dental screws to replace just a few teeth. With All-On-X® dental implants, as few as 2 dental implants to as many as 8 or more dental implants can be used to replace the teeth, and securely fasten the dental implants to the jawbone. The number of dental implants used during your All-On-X® surgery would be determined by Dr. Mark and is decided based on your needs and goals.
All-On-X® dental implant surgery requires Dr. Mark and his surgical team to extract any remaining damaged or decaying teeth from the upper or lower jaw to place the All-On-X® implants properly. Once any remaining teeth are removed, the appropriate number of dental implants determined for your All-On-X® surgery will be inserted into the jawbone. The implants may be placed at an angle in order to utilize more of the jawbone. Placing the implant screws at specific angles, rather than straight into the jawbone like traditional methods, allows for a more secure and durable foundation to form between the implant screw and the jawbone. Once your dental implants are securely placed, you will be fitted for temporary teeth to wear during the healing process. During the recovery period, your jawbone and gums will begin to fuse to your dental implants in a process called osseointegration. After your implants have healed, your new teeth will be placed in one office visit, providing a full, natural-looking smile restoration.
