HOW DO ALL-ON-X® DENTAL IMPLANTS WORK?

All-On-X® dental implant surgery requires Dr. Mark and his surgical team to extract any remaining damaged or decaying teeth from the upper or lower jaw to place the All-On-X® implants properly. Once any remaining teeth are removed, the appropriate number of dental implants determined for your All-On-X® surgery will be inserted into the jawbone. The implants may be placed at an angle in order to utilize more of the jawbone. Placing the implant screws at specific angles, rather than straight into the jawbone like traditional methods, allows for a more secure and durable foundation to form between the implant screw and the jawbone. Once your dental implants are securely placed, you will be fitted for temporary teeth to wear during the healing process. During the recovery period, your jawbone and gums will begin to fuse to your dental implants in a process called osseointegration. After your implants have healed, your new teeth will be placed in one office visit, providing a full, natural-looking smile restoration.
